The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) annual marketing seminar in 2007 will focus on customer strategy and relationship marketing, with Don Peppers of the Peppers and Rogers Group as featured speaker. Peppers is a globally recognized author and thought leader on customer-focused business strategy.
The AEM 2007 marketing seminar will be held May 14-16, 2007 at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Power of Integration is the theme, with the goal of helping equipment manufacturing industry marketers better understand the value of integrating strategic planning throughout all procedures and projects. Seminar modules will also demonstrate specific tactics related to technology use, product launches and trade show participation.
Joining Peppers on the speaker roster are Jordan Ayan, founder of Create-It! and a leading technology strategist; Steve Miller, founder of The Adventure LLC and a well-known trade show strategist, and Tom Bligh, a noted change strategist and marketing vice president of Genie Industries (Terex). The seminar will also feature panels of industry marketers offering case-study experiences and insights.
AEMs marketing conferences are developed by the association's Marketing Council of member company executives. The sessions offer practical ideas and solutions tailored specifically to the needs of off-road equipment industry marketers, both seasoned and novice, plus industry peer-to-peer networking opportunities.
AEMs educational programming now offers CEU - Continuing Education Credits. Complete seminar details and registration information are posted online in the "education" section of the AEM Web site - www.aem.org.
The 2007 AEM Marketing Seminar will immediately precede the associations CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2008 and IFPE 2008 Exhibitor Education Meeting, in the same location, for the convenience of dual-meeting attendees. The Exhibitor Education Meeting will be held May 16-17, 2007 and is designed to help companies effectively promote their exhibit for maximum return on investment. Show management will also discuss new and important show participation information in areas such as operations, housing and registration policies.
