AAFA Announces New Vice President of Membership Development
Washington, D.C. (Thursday, November 8, 2007) Today, the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) announced the addition of Maureen Storch to their management team as Vice President of Membership Development.
Maureen has already established herself based on extensive industry experience as a proponent of the retail community. She will bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to this important role, said Kevin M. Burke, President and CEO, AAFA. The AAFA staff and members welcome her arrival and I look forward to her fresh energy and contributions to our Association.
Before joining AAFA, Storch co-founded and was Chief Executive Officer of Global Nexus, Inc., international marketing consultants to the Material World Trade Show. Storch has also worked with the C-ME/ ASAP Show, UN Imports, Murjani International Ltd. and AAFA-member company Oxford Industries. She will be building on AAFAs value-added membership benefits for existing and prospective member companies, foster international business relations and expanding awareness of the critical role AAFA plays in advocating members interests.
I have appreciated the resources and initiatives of AAFA since early in my professional career, said Storch. So, I am excited about the opportunity to join this team of dedicated and knowledgeable professionals who share my passion for supporting the needs of established and emerging players in this dynamic industry.
