Equipment Manufacturers Trade Group Presents “Milestone Member” Awards

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has presented “milestone member” awards to five companies in recognition of their industry support through longtime and continuous participation in the association.

Astec Industries Inc. a 75-Year AEM Member
Astec Industries of Chattanooga, Tennessee was honored for achieving 75-year AEM member status in 2007.

New AEM 25-Year Members
In addition to Astec Industries Inc., four companies also reached milestone status in 2007.

Companies honored as 25-year members in the association were:
• LeTourneau Inc. of Longview, Texas
• McLaughlin Manufacturing Company of Greenville, South Carolina
• Pettibone Corporation of Baraga, Michigan
• TT Technologies Inc. of Aurora, Illinois

“AEM’s strength is a direct result of the dedication and participation of our member companies in association activities. Their continuing support helps AEM advance the interests of the off-road equipment industry at state, national, provincial and international levels,” noted AEM Membership Director Bobbi Klim.

A total of nearly 100 companies have been continuously active in AEM for 25 years up to 100-plus years, dating back to the association’s founding in 1894.

AEM is the North American-based international trade group serving the off-road equipment manufacturing industry. The association’s business development activities include technical and safety services, market information and equipment statistics, global public policy, trade shows, international support services, education and training, workforce promotion and worksite safety/educational materials.
