Second Call for Papers: IFPE 2008 Technical Conference
The IFPE 2008 Technical Conference has issued a second call for papers, and invites educators, engineers, scientists and inventors from around the world to participate in this prestigious power transmission industry event. Deadline to submit abstracts is July 2, 2007.
The conference will be held March 12-14, 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, USA. It is being held in conjunction with IFPE, the International Exposition for Power Transmission, which is the largest event in North America for the motion control industry
The IFPE 2008 Technical Conference will include a new Electronic Controls Symposium to complement its highly regarded Technology and Design Program.
The IFPE 2008 Technical Conference will examine all areas of power transmission and motion control technology, research, design, new developments, materials and case histories. Papers delivered will be also be published and made available at the conclusion of the conference.
Topic areas for conference papers include power transmission (systems and simulation/analysis), fluid power/motion control (components and fluid power circuits), electrical and mechanical power transmission (electric motors, brakes, clutches, other components), hydraulic fluids, reliability, international standards, new materials and electronic controls.

IFPE 2008 will be co-located with CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2008, which will be the largest international gathering place for the construction industries in 2008. The shows are expected to attract more than 125,000 visitors from around the world.
