Of particular note is the access to their world class handheld RFID readers. These will supplement Advanced Researchs growing portfolio of RFID tracking solutions in its AssetWhere? â Family of Products. The handheld readers will be integrated with the Storage +ä a RFID enabled smart cabinet, which is targeted for the manufacturing, medical and commercial industries, as a solution for the tracking of assets and consignment materials. A sister product, OpenCribä, which provides similar functionality with the use of a portal (doorway) or smart shelf implementation, will now also enjoy additional features such as remote inventorying and reading very large and/or stationary, with the hand held unit. This association also allows Advanced Research access to the complete line of Motorola/Symbol mobile devices including portable computers, wireless devices and data capture solutions.
